schimbare viteze e90 benzina

Salut , as dori niste lamuriri pt un E90 ( 2006- 318i,1995 cmc ) referitor la schimbatul vitezelor.Intrucat este prima mea masina pe benzina si nu am prea multe cunostinte legate de tehnica auto , as vrea sa stiu la cat ar fi optim sa schimb vitezele ,protejand astfel si motorul ? Momentan schimb undeva la 2000.Am inteles de la unele persoane ca ar fi subturata,desi masina nu da semne de oboseala(poate si pe fondul faptului ca este relativ noua,are 20 de mii de km),insa am un consum intre 12-13,5 l in oras.Crescand turatia se poate reduce consumul ? Mergand in stilul acesta ,pot afecta durata de viata a motorului ?

 

Va multtumesc frumos.
