Formula de piloti a fost anuntata pentru un proiect special in motorsport: pilotul oficial BMW Alessandro Zanardi (Italia) va participa la cursa de 24 de ore de la Spa-Francorchamps (Belgia) alaturi de pilotii BMW in DTM Timo Glock (Germania) si Bruno Spengler (Canada).
