Need help in Romania

Hello dears!

my BMW r1150gs motorcycle broke down near Ryshnov. cut the thread of the generator shaft. need your advice: where should I repair my motorcycle in this area? is it possible to find spare parts alternator for my bike in Romania?

Yes, you will find pieces to repair your bike, look here a site in Romania from you can buy Second hand parts.

 

I don't understand for sure what happened to your bike, i don't know nothing about bikes but if it's the alternator here some links:

Upper pulley nut is not keeping on the generator shaft. The generator belt is partly damaged.

 

 

 

Where I can buy the belt in Brasov region? I need the belt 4pk611

I don't think you will find it anywhere on stock, i give you some ideas:

 

1. Try to find a shop who can order cars-bikes pieces.

 

2. Go to BMW in Brasov to see in how much time they can bring you that belt and if they can

 

3. Belt-Link this is a link that i search in 1 minute, i'm not sure this is the belt but it says that is for this kind of bikes besides others:

The Belt is new 45 lei (10 euro), the fabricant is Contitech (good quality) but you must call on that site :0740091953 , this is the telephone number from the site...tomorrow is sunday, i don't think anyone can help you but if you wait till monday and call i'm sure they can deliver you that belt in 1-2 days.

 

P.S i saw now the piece code, is exactly what is on that site, hope they still have it.

Thank a lot for all! We find at farcebook the page of owners of bmw 1200gs, and there we can find John and his friend. They men can find alternator, delivery it to Brasov, take my bike in they garage and repair it.
