Unfasten flywheel bolts.

Position flywheel (B).

Renew flywheel bolts (1) to (8).

Parts: Flywheel bolts

Fit new flywheel bolts with the special tool 0 491 018 (11 4 180) by hand.

Make sure that the tightening sequence from dowel pin (A) is followed.

Secure flywheel with Torx screw (1) and special tools 11 9 811 and 11 9 265 .

Tighten flywheel bolts with special tool 11 4 180 (adhere to angle of rotation in the next work step).

Tightening torque: 11 22 1AZ.

Mark all the flywheel bolts (1) with a vertical line.

Tighten all flywheel bolts (1) with an angle of rotation of 45° using the special tool 00 9 120 .

Remove special tool 11 9 811 /11 9 265 .

Position flywheel (B).

Renew flywheel bolts (1) to (8).

Make sure that the tightening sequence from dowel pin (A) is followed.

21 21 500Removing and installing or replacing clutch (SAC 240)

Special tools required:

Do not clean the self-adjusting clutch and flywheel with high pressure cleaner or a washing machine, as the proper function of the adjustment unit and damping springs can then no longer be guaranteed.

Clean friction surface only.

Check self-adjusting clutch for wear and damage and replace if necessary.

F5iQBFo Identification of self-adjusting clutch ∅ 240 mm:
  • 3 openings each with a pressure piece (1) of adjustment ring and a pressure spring (2)
Note:

Figure shows new position of the thrust pieces.

1VnYR2rsi7 Lock flywheel with special tool  11 9 260 .
1VnYWJadvT Insert special tool 21 2 180 in self-adjusting clutch.Note:

Locking hooks (1) of special tool 21 2 180 must engage in recesses of self-adjusting clutch.

Press special tool 21 2 180 together at handles (2) until limit position and grip firmly.

At same time tighten down knurled screws (1).

Adjusting ring of self-adjusting clutch is now secured.

1VnYc6voHY Fit special tool 21 2 170 with the pressure plate 2 288 165 and tighten down at knurled screw (1).
1VnYcViVv7 Screw in spindle (1) until diaphragm spring (2) is tensioned up to stop.
1VnYTw3YnK Unfasten the bolts and remove the self-adjusting clutch from the flywheel.Important!

Do not use a special tool to detach the self-adjusting clutch from the flywheel.


Installation note:

Screws must be replaced.

Jointing torque and angle of rotation must be observed without fail.

Remove clutch disc (1) from flywheel.

Clean flywheel, check for wear and damage.

Replace damaged flywheel.

Check grooved ball bearing in crankshaft for ease of movement and tightness and if necessary replace grooved ball bearing.

Always replace clutch discs fouled e.g. by oil, cleaning agent.


Check the clutch disc for damage and frictional corrosion in the hub profile and replace if necessary.

Check clutch disc for wear:

Measure lining protrusion at lining rivets at closing head (A) in each case.

Note:

Rivet connection

a) Closing head
b) Swage head
 

Replace clutch disc if lining protrusion at closing head (A) is less than 1 mm.

Push clutch disk onto the cleaned transmission input shaft and check for easy movability.

Slide the self-adjusting clutch onto the dowel pins (1) in the flywheel and screw tight.

Part: Replace screws.

Tightening torque: 21 21 1AZ.

Stop (1) may only be removed with self-adjusting clutch screw-mounted.
1VnYYOpgmf Carefully unscrew stop (1) clockwise or anticlockwise using a size 14 (2) hexagon socket wrench.Note:

A slight snapping of the plate spring while unscrewing is possible.

Dacă nu ai cont,nu poți sa vezi ce cupluri sunt,de aia ți am și scris la volant și ambreiaj.

Dacă nu știe mecanicul cuplurile e cam nasol,sa le stranga aiurea așa...
