Hi boys I am an italian biker with his gs 1150 adventure

 

I am coming to Romania at 6th august until 28th august. I hope that will be a wonderful adventure for me.

Imagine a computer game with five levels - the higher, the more challenging:

Level 1: Romanian roads

Level 2: Romanian car drivers

Level 3: Romanian commercial and mini-bus vehicle drivers

Level 4: Middle-age like horse-powered wagons, tractors and other vehicles slower than 30 Km/h

Level 5: Turkish truck drivers transiting Romania

 

Now imagine you have to play all the levels at once.

I hope you got the idea. Drive slowly, defensive and be careful. During night, watch for slow vehicles on the right side of the road.

If you want to scare me, you have done a good job. I am a driver with experience but Romania and its drive problems will be a several test for me. I will drive slowly and with attention and then we are in the hand of God. Don't esitate to call if you see me on the road. Every information during this trip is welcome. I will see your answer when I'll stop in a romanian internet point.

second: do not flash/lamp enybody in romania... flash means that is a radar station near by (in front of you)... if U wanrt to "say hallo" to other bikers, simply hold up your left hand and show 2 fingers in a sign of victory.

third: pay attention to the roads... now U ride a beautiful road and 100m away U can discover a new Etna crater

fourth: FiveThreeFive is right...

fifth: your BMW it's the best choise for this trip

sixth: U'll find in romania same views like in Viterbo, but U have to be on the right road... if U need help on finding the best views, just ask and I'll draw U a map :blink:
