Ce inseamna E 20,  E 36, E 46, E 39?

 

De ce E? De ce nr. ...( ex 46)? De ce nu litera B?

Cine stie?

The E stands for Entwicklung, the German word for Development. That's because the E codes are assigned by BMW at the beginning of model development.

Internally, BMW associates an "e-code" for each generation of a series ("E" stands for Entwicklung, German for development or evolution). These "chassis codes" only change to signify a major redesign of a series, or the introduction of a new series. BMW AG reported in September 2006 that BMW will switch to the letter "F" for their future models, beginning with the F01 7 Series replacement."

Numar de ordine de pe caietul de planse al designerului...  :blink: 

 

Cele care nu sunt in fabricatie or fi cele respinse. (de ex de la E39 la E46, etc.) Si le pastreaza intr-o arhiva, ceva.

cica or sa se schimbe E-urile, pt ca au ajuns deja la e92 si nu mai au cifre pentru urmatoarele modele. seria 7 programata in 2009 o sa fie F01, iar varianta L(unga) o sa fie F02...

Pot sa pun pariu ca asta este explicatia, nu este ceva mistic pe acolo... Fac concepte la rand si cele care trec in productie sunt cele care le stim noi.

Care-i faza cu sigla bmw? Eu stiam ca reprezinta inceputurile bmw (pe vremea cand facea motoare de avion), si anume o elice in miscare. Eh, de curand am vazut pe discovery, la o emisiune despre cum se asambleaza bmw z4, ceva diferit: cica semnul vine de la steagul bavariei: Un dreptunghi impartit in 4 parti, doua albastre si doua albe. Acest steag a fost stilizat si a luat forma unui cerc, dar a pastrat culorile. Si chestia asta era povestita chiar de un manager (parca) de la bmw.
